lyrics

Yeah
I remember
Yeah

Let's build a new memory (memory memory)
All my memoirs used to be dark
Demolish to build
Yeah it's time to restart
Old altars coming down
Gave me a new heart
A new memory (memory memory)
Use my family for your glory
My family is for your glory
You said my family is for your glory
New memory (memory memory)
All my memoirs used to be dark
Demolish to build
Yeah it's time to restart
Old altars coming down
Gave me a new heart
A new memory (memory memory)
Use my family for your glory
My family is for your glory
You said my family is for your glory

Dear brother
I'm writing this because
Your whole life is ahead of you
And I know at times you start to question
What am I to do?
Like where do I belong?
What is right and wrong?
And all the fears about
What are people going to think of you
We all got points of views
Our own interpretations
But what is true
It only comes from one destination
That's with an exclamation!
Because its from the heart
The hunger for the truth
That knowledge yeah that's where it starts
And though our parents are apart
We'll always be together
A timeless trio
That's forever
Outlasting whatever
The coldest winter seasons
Beware the stormy weather
Because it's glory through suffering
And it's for the better
Uh
And though life can sometimes get bitter
Stand strong don't ever let your spirit whither
It's all love
I'm so grateful you considered

Let's build a new memory (memory memory)
All my memoirs used to be dark
Demolish to build
Yeah it's time to restart
Old altars coming down
Gave me a new heart
A new memory (memory memory)
Use my family for your glory
My family is for your glory
You said my family is for your glory
New memory (memory memory)
All my memoirs used to be dark
Demolish to build
Yeah it's time to restart
Old altars coming down
Gave me a new heart
A new memory (memory memory)
Use my family for your glory
My family is for your glory
You said my family is for your glory

Tho in the past I haven't been exemplary to you
Don't be like your older brother
That's what they told you
He's not good in school
Acting like a fool
It's safe to say
He's not doing what he's supposed to
But your purpose on this earth
Is not appointed by a man
We all have a purpose
This I know you understand
Uh
But we gotta do the best that we can
When I dropped out of school
I knew that it was God's plan (yeah)
Here on my own two feet I stand
Making strides
Never compromise
Righteous is the plan
Now I recognize that I am a new man
But first I had to recognize this world we living in
I know that it can be confusing
Consuming
Lost in material illusion
They think they're winning but their losing
Trying to live life
But you really end up losing it

Let's build a new memory (memory memory)
All my memoirs used to be dark
Demolish to build
Yeah it's time to restart
Old altars coming down

Let's make a new memory to remember
One that's forever
Yeah that's eternal
I know the past was hurtful
But God turned it purposeful
For those who love Jesus
Who are called by Him for glory
For His glory yeah

Dear father
I know in life
A lot of things seemed unfair to you
Probably feeling like the world never ever cared for you
Just know ill always be there for you
I don't care about the past
I've already forgiven you
Uh
Said I've already acknowledged
Mistakes that were made
And I learned more than college
And now I know the bible is the true source of knowledge
Yeah
It's much more than morality
How to deal with the pain
And do it unselfishly
If you saw me now I know that would be proud of me
Who I have become
Who I plan to be
Through Jesus Christ
I live my life in sanctity
Cause I know that God is not cruel
He loves you
Like you love me
And that's true
The seperation hurt but God is healing all my wounds
Turn to Christ
He's calling out to you
